Default Brewsmith Questions

1.) How do I change the currency unit ?
2.) Is there somewhere to adjust boiling point ? (Johannesburg is 5700ft asl - water boils at 98C instead of 100C at sea level).

To change the units, go into "tools" and then "options". That gives you the choices for C/F, ounces, gallons, etc. I think that's what you're talking about?

For boiling temperature, I don't know!

I can see the grams/ounces, litres/gallons units but no currency unit.

I believe Beersmith uses Window's default currency settings. For the boiling temp, I don't think that's adjustable.

My Windows is set to Rand - Settings, Control Panel, Regional and Language - is there somewhere else in windows ?
(its not a big deal but I'd like it changed if possible).

re boiling temp : can anyone take an educated guess how bitterness is affected during a 60 min boil at 98C and 100C ? I asusme it can't be more than about 2 IBU.

Beersmith can adjust for the boiling point of water. It is in the top most panel of the mash profile window.
