I just tried downloading the trial version but he must have some broken links or server issues atm because it's not working. It looks like decent software though, I'll try again later.

The server could just be busy -- it worked for me a couple of hours ago.

Man, some of the the new features are things I had been hoping for. I'll have to try it out. Version 1.4 is a free upgrade if you've already purchased a previous version of BeerSmith.

Thank goodness it's free! I bought it a month and a half ago and would've been pretty pissed if I had to re-purchase it.

I downloaded and installed with no probs.

And here I thought Beertoolspro was the up and coming, always updated winner... It actually isn't that great and I had a really hard time relearning how to do things beersmith did so intuitively. BTP still doesn't have an inventory feature and you need a masters degree and a labotomy to set up a batch sparge. Ugh, I'm thinking of buying BS.

I downloaded it, but I couldn't figure out how to do a late extract edition. That was the reason I downloaded it. I want to make my Kolsch as light in color as I can. :(

Just checked it out Talley. Put in your recipe. When you add in the extract at the bottom of the choose grain/extract window there's a check box for a late extract boil and you can input how many minutes you want to boil it.:mug:
