Default Beersmith Recipes - Dry vs. Liquid Extract

A lot of extract recipes in Beersmith call for liquid malt extract. Is it safe to assume that you can sub out dry malt extract of the same weight for liquid malt extract? Or is there some other conversion calculation?

LME is not as concentrated as DME and therefore if brewing a DME recipe with LME you would require more LME in weight and vice versa.
