For some reason the default for mash thickness is l/kg. I have tried changing it but it will not stick. This is becoming a frustrating tool..... Any ideas?

When you say "stick" do you mean every time you start a new recipe file? If so, you need to set everything that you want including your mash schedule, equipment list, etc and either save it as a template or set as default.

change it in the recipe tab under convert units, then press ok. I go back to the schedule and it still reads in metric

ok - I feel like an idiot. Preferences is what was giving me fits. Thanks Bobbby - I owe you quite a bit as I has watched the batch sparge videos for BTP quite a few times!
