Default Adding ingredients in beersmith?

Hi all,
I'm planning a recipe that calls for munich lme, but beersmith doesn't have it...any tips on adding new ingredients (especially extracts) to beersmith?

Danke!

Are you sure? I have used it before for several recipes.

Hmmm...I don't see it. I've got 3 varieties of munich malt, but no munich lme.

I'm updating right now in case my edition is out of date...

Well there's amber LME I would have to believe that's pretty close.

In any case, what I do is start with a similar ingredient, duplicate it and then modify it appropriately based on my research and pulling any other numbers out of my ass.

I just checked, and you're right. I guess I did it a while ago and didn't remember. You have to enter it in manually. Go to "Grains and Extracts" on the left, click on "New Grain or Extract" above the left frame.

The info that I have for it is 1.036 potential for LME, 8.0 SRM (straight from AHS website), max in batch is 100 percent.

Sorry I gave you wrong info.

Eric
