Default Easy Campside Honey Cyser

Campside Honey Cyser
1 gallon recipe

3.5 lbs of Honey
.5 gallon apple juice
1 cup orange juice
fill the rest of the gallon with water

I add dashes of...
coriander
nutmeg
cinnamon
bitter orange peel
*I go lighter on these in the summer, heveir for a winter batch

pitch Lalvin K1-V1116 and begin the long hard wait.

Once things get going for a month or so, I sometimes toss in a handful berries, or perhaps cherries in winter

Ferment at least 4 months, then I usually bottle and wait another month or so.

Sorry I don't have any gravity measurements, but I tend to wing things and play them by ear. It's worked out well so far. Plus, when you're only doing 1 gallon at at time, it's a shame to steal any before it's ready.
