Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: S-04
Yeast Starter: NO
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.056
Final Gravity: 1.017
IBU: 25
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 11.5
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 10 @ 65F
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 @ 65
Tasting Notes: Very maltly, clean, slightly roasty, no "alcohol" flavor... great beer.

4.25 Lbs Pilsner 2.0 SRM
2.25 Lbs Vienna 3.5 SRM
2.00 Lbs Munich 20L 20 SRM
1.00 Lbs Aromatic 26 SRM
1.00 Lbs Crystal 20L 20 SRM
1.00 Lbs Crystal 40L 40 SRM

STRIKE with 14.26 quarts of 169.5F water
Mash at 158F for one hour
Sparge with 170F water

BOIL:
1.00 oz. Argentine Cascade 3.2AA 60 mins
.50 oz. Argentine Cascade 3.2AA 45 mins
.50 oz. Argentine Cascade 3.2AA 30 mins

Chill to 75F
Ferment at 65F

Pitch one packet of rehydrated S-04

I know this thread is really old but I was wondering what you did for fermentation how long in primary and secondary and how this turned out

I saw the octoberfast as well my buddy and I were thinking of trying both recipes and seeing which was better
