Default All-Grain - Lune’ d’bleu (Belgian Wit - Pearl Street Grill and Brewery Winner)

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: WLP400
Yeast Starter: Yes
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.050
Final Gravity: 1.011
IBU: 15
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 3 SRM
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 21 @ 68 degrees
Additional Fermentation: n/a
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): n/a
Tasting Notes: Crisp and clean with good carbonation and a subtle hint of ginger at the end.

This received a score of 197 out of a possible 295 in the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery Brewmaster's Challenge.

It's a pretty simple recipe, but using Indian coriander and fresh orange zest along with the ginger made it stand out over the other entries.

I used the zest from 2.5 navel oranges about the size of a baseball. Zest these on brewday.

Sorry for the lag in responding...but yeah, this is the one. It actually tastes better at home, but who am I to argue. I got it professionally brewed!
