Default Orange Hefeweisen

I'm new to brewing, thought I was doing really good with a couple under my belt, with sweet mead a fermenting. Until I got on your site wow! I really like fruit tasting beer, my favorite. i don't have the means for all grain maybe in the future. Any suggestions for partial grain on any of your brews especially the watermelon, and the orange Hefeweisen? I wish you were closer I would site down with ya and take notes and drink homebrew!

I am getting ready to bottle a batch of OHH & forgot to zest some oranges & I was thinking of using a couple shots of Smirnoffs Orange twist vodka this should work right?

Thanks

DubbelDach, I made this recipe exactly to your specs and its kegged as of last Friday. I love this beer! What a perfectly subtle amount of orange flavor that perfectly compliments the great yeast! I love this beer and just wanted to thank you for sharing the recipe. I fear my keg won't last the week the way I'm drinking it!
Great job, great beer! Cheers!

DubbelDach, I made this for SWMBO and bottled it last night. I drank the last partial bottle and it tastes great. Love the subtle orange. I used WLP320 as I wasn't sure how SWMBO would like the banana flavors in a german hefe yeast... and I'm kind of regretting that now. Planning to brew it again soon with WLP300. Thanks again.

Dubbel Dachs - just wanted to give you "big ups" on your label art & recipes. Can't wait to brew a batch of your Orange Honey Hefe.

¡Salud!

When I brewed this I could tell there was a little honey sweetness but it was very subtle.

My next batch will be a summer wheat, but I dont do AG as it's out of my league. What can I do to make this using partial?

^ Don't be intimidated with AG. All it takes is a little extra equipment than you probably have now. This is the first AG batch I've done and I have to say after 5 weeks (2 primary / 3 in the bottle ) this stuff is the best thing I've brewed to date. Subtle orange/honey flavors with a hefe finish and rave reviews from everyone that's tried it thus far. Thanks again DD.
