Default Partial - Dubbel Dee Dunkelweizen

Recipe Type: Partial Mash
Yeast: Wehenstephan Weizen (Wyeast Labs #3068)
Yeast Starter: None
Batch Size (Gallons): 5
Original Gravity: 1.044
Final Gravity: 1.012
IBU: 13.3
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 20.4 SRM
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 days @ 69 degrees
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 days @ 69 degrees
Tasting Notes: Moderate but not overpowering clove and wheat with nice dark color.

Here's my first recipe that I think is worth sharing. I was pretty impressed with how it turned out considering it was my first attempt at a partial mash (used DeathBrewer's stovetop method -- thanks man).

And yes, I'm aware that "Dubbel" is Belgian, not German, but the alliteration was too tempting.

I would post the BeerXML file but the forum won't let me.

Recipe: Dubbel Dee Dunkelweizen
Brewer: filterban
Style: Dunkelweizen
TYPE: Partial Mash
Taste: (30.0) Moderate but not overpowering clove and wheat scent with deep dark color. Extremely high carbonation with decent retention.

Not a complex enough flavor for a dunkel, but overall is a good beer -- one of the best beers I've brewed yet.
