Yeast: Nottinghams
Yeast Starter: No
Additional Yeast or Yeast Starter: No
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.25
Original Gravity: 1.065
Final Gravity: TBD
IBU: 138
Boiling Time (Minutes): 45
Color: 8
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14days @ 65°F
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14days @ 65°F

First running of this brew...simple but it should be tasty!

3gallon boil, 5.25 gallon batch

10# Extra pale LME

1oz Warrior pellet 16.4 @ 45min
.5oz Simcoe pellet 12.0 @ 40min
.5oz Simcoe pellet 12.0 @ 35min
.5oz Simcoe pellet 12.0 @ 30min
.5oz Simcoe pellet 12.0 @ 25min
.5oz Cascade pellet 4.2 @ 20min
.5oz Cascade pellet 4.2 @ 15min
1tsp Irish Moss
1oz Cascade pellet 4.2 @ 10min
1oz Cascade pellet 4.2 @ 5min
1oz Cascade pellet 4.2 @ 0min

Nottingham Dry Yeast -
Primary for 14 days @ 65°F
Secondary for 14 days @ 65°F
Crash cool and rack to the keg

Calculated 138 IBU

This finished down to 1.012 after 16 days... 6.95% ABV... call it 7% ABV after priming sugar gets chewed up.

I just racked it into a keg... finished at 1.012, just shy of 7% ABV, citrus nose, smooth bitterness... FANTASTIC!!!! The beer needs to carb up for a week then crash cool to clear but this recipe is absolutely a keeper!!!!!!!

The recipe is confirmed good. We sampled it at the Whales meeting and many people liked it! I think it needs a touch of crystal 40.

This looks so easy and so damn good. I put it in Brewpal and it's on my to-brew list for sure. My favorite ipas so far have been either pure dme or pure lme and loads of hops. Was this dry hopped at all?
