All-Grain - All-Grain All-Simcoe
Recipe Type: All Grain Yeast: White Labs 001 Batch Size (Gallons): 5 Original Gravity: 1.068 Final Gravity: 1.018 Boiling Time (Minutes): 60 Color: 10 Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7 Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 Tasting Notes: To be announced
Decided to start a little IPA project so I'm brewing up 4 different batches using only single hops in each. I'm going to keep the hop schedule, grain bill, yeast, etc. all the same just change the hops. I'm starting out with Simcoe then Amarillo, Chinook, and Cascade.
10lbs Great Western 2 row
2 lbs Great Western Dextrin (carapils)
2 lbs Great Western C40
60min - 2 oz simcoe
50min - .25 oz simcoe
40min - .25 oz simcoe
30min - .25 oz simcoe
20min - .25 oz simcoe
10min - .25 oz simcoe
5min - .25 oz simcoe
Dry hopped - .5 oz simcoe for 14 days @ 70-72 degrees
