hey this stuff is delicious. not sure why mine attenuated so high but it's perfect, got great body, just a hint of sweetness, roasty coffee finish, bitter but not overpowering. hints of toffee or vanilla, very complex. i thought this was man beer but ladyfriend loves it. thanks for the recipe

everyone agrees, you get first coffee, then maybe bitter chocolate, and then you get something mineral / savory that one friend described as marmite-like! i see what he means actually. then a warm rich alcohol sweetness. gonna make this again, it went quickly

Holy hell! Brewed this Nov 29 and just bottled last week! Man I've got to get a less demanding job - It's starting to get in the way of my hobby!

Taste at bottling was pretty good though after all that time in the carboy AND on the yeast cake. Hope it conditions quickly!

Oh, and FG was 1.022 - not exactly what I wanted but once again it tasted good at bottling so we'll see.........
