Woohoo! This just got 3rd place (out of about 22) in a homebrew contest put up by my LHBS over the weekend! Mind you these aren't BJCP judges, but I'm still pretty damn happy!

I liked your recipe, tweaked it a little bit.. 1.5-2 oz of Kent Goldings at 60 min. and some Fuggle (.5 oz) as an aroma addition. Plan on brewing in the next 2 weeks. How would you describe the flavor profile? I want something creamy and roasty but not overwhelmingly roasty or too sweet..

Sounds delicious. I have an oatmeal stout that's currently aging on some oak chips. Can't wait to give it a try. Congrats on the 3rd place :ban:
