Nice looking recipe. I think I will try this out soon. This will be the first stout which I will dispense with the stout faucet and nitrogen set-up which I just picked up.

Just poured one of these earlier tonight. Great beer. Very close to the original. Nothing I would really change about the recipe.

Just opened the first of this all-grain batch. I used less hops than called for as it seems a bit high. Turned out pretty close. My ABV was a bit higher but you can't really tell a difference due to how flavorful it all is. Thanks for posting the recipe

Thanks for sharing, I brewed this up a couple weeks ago, just kegged and it tastes pretty damn good.

I upped the grain bill equal % to get the SG to 1.071, left the lactose at 1 lb., used US-05. I also wanted to use leaf hops so I ended up substituting 1oz Northern Brewer (60 min) and 1oz Fuggles (10 min), and even though its not finished aging or carbed, I think the hop balance is great. My 4th AG batch and so far it's looking like the best...

We brewed this one.. absolutely amazing. We did a blind taste test between this and the LHMS, and it was actually better than LHMS!
Took this and 3 other batches of our brews to family for Thanksgiving, and everyone raved about it. Out of all 4 batches that we took, our Milk Stout disappeared first. Every single person that tasted it said they would buy it if it was for sale.

Thank you thank you thank you for the recipe...

I first read this as "if it was on sale"... "yeah, sure, I'd buy your beer, you know, if it were on sale or something."
