All-Grain - Daily Drunkard Stout
Recipe Type: All Grain Yeast: WLP013 London Ale Yeast Starter: 2L Batch Size (Gallons): 10 Original Gravity: 12.5 Plato Final Gravity: ? IBU: 47 Boiling Time (Minutes): 60 Color: Black Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7 days at 65F Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7 days at 65F Tasting Notes: Roasty, bitter, but clean aftertaste
14 Lbs Pale Malt
1.5 Lbs Roasted Barley
1 Lb Black Patent Malt
Mash with 20L of water at 150F for 60 minutes
Hops:
-60 minutes 3.5 Oz Kent Golding at 6.2%AA
That's all!
1 tsp of Gypsum in the boil
This beer won second place in the "Session Beer" category of the Austin Zealots Inquisition a few years ago. This beer will be the only stout you can drink all night long with no major side effects. It just makes you feel good all over. Forget Guiness! This stout is good for you! |
