Default All-Grain - American Brown Ale - knock your socks off!

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: Nottingham
Yeast Starter: None
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.062
Final Gravity: 1.016
IBU: 32.1
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 21.8
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 10
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 12
Tasting Notes: Best beer I've made, great chocolate flavor without being overwhelming.

I created this beer from Designing Great Beers, and I have to say I would buy this beer at a bar. It is the BEST beer I've made, with great mouthfeel, great chocolatey flavor without being overwhelming, and a great hop presence for the style. SG a little high for the 10C category, but amazing nonetheless!

Efficiency: 75%, Mashed @ 151 F for 60 minutes (1.25 qts/lb --> mashed in with 4 gallons, modified fly sparge technique)

Recipe:
10.5 lbs Pale 2-row malt
1.5 lbs Crystal 80
0.5 lbs Cara-pils
6 oz Chocolate malt

1.25 oz Cascade (AA 6%) - 60 min
0.5 oz Cascade (AA 4.1%) - 15 min
0.5 oz Centennial (AA 9.3%) - 15 min
0.5 oz Cascade (AA 4.1%) - 5 min

I tab whirfloc at 30 min
Yeast: Nottingham

I just purchased all of the ingredients and I'm going to try this recipe verbatim. I'll post my comments after we crack the first bottle. It sounds great!
