This recipe won second place a few years back for the Austin Zealots Inquisition for the "Simple Simon" category of one yeast, one hop and one malt.
10 pounds Pale Ale malt
10 L initial mash water at 150F for 60 mins
Amarillo hops 9.0% AA
60 minutes 0.75 oz Amarillo
15 minutes 0.75 oz Amarillo
5 minutes 0.75 oz Amarillo
0 minutes flame out 0.75 oz Amarillo
Dry 1.0 oz Amarillo |
