This was the beer I brewed at this year's Masstoberfest (thanks again for hosting, Paul!) and I am very happy with how it turned out. I was looking for a lighter, session pale ale to add to my arsenal and I found it with this super easy-drinking, citrusy extra pale. Give it a whirl!

Powderhouse Brewery Impenetrable Fortress Extra Pale Ale

8.5 lbs. Pale 2-Row (US)
0.5 lbs. Carapils/Dextrine
0.5 lbs. Crystal 20

1.65 oz. Cascades (5% AA) 60 min.
1 oz. Willamette (leaf, 4.8% AA) 15 min.
1 oz. Willamette (leaf, 4.8% AA) 5 min.

Mashed at 151 degrees for 60 minutes, batch sparge to 6.5 gallons.

I added a whirlfloc tablet at 15 minutes and pitched one packet of S-05.

This beer is light, crisp, and delicious! Give it a whirl!
