Last time i brewed this i split it into 2 5 gallon fermentations. 1 had used the listed yeast and the other a packet of Muntons. The Cali yeast finished out at 1.008, and the Muntons at 1.012.
The Cali Hoppit was far superior.. it had a much cleaner taste and the flavor of the hops was emphasized by the yeast.
The Muntons Hoppit came close to that flavor after it aged about a month and a half.
