Default Extract - Hard Cock Dry Hopped APA

Recipe Type: Extract
Yeast: Wyeast ACT1056
Batch Size (Gallons): 5
Original Gravity: 1.034
Final Gravity: 1.008
IBU: 40.2
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 10.71
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7 @ 65 Degrees
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 @ 65 Degrees
Tasting Notes: This is a hoppy APA With tones of Lemon Grass and Grapefruit.

.5 lbs. American Caramel 40°L
.5 lbs. American Caramel 20°L
3.3 lbs. Liquid Light Extract
3 lbs. Dry Amber Extract
1 oz. Amarillo (Pellets, 8.50 %AA) boiled 60 min.
.5 oz. Cluster (Pellets, 7.00 %AA) boiled 15 min.
.5 oz. Cluster (Pellets, 7.00 %AA) boiled 5 min.
1 oz. Cascade (Leaf, 5.50 %AA) Dry Hopped
1 teaspoons Irish Moss
Yeast : WYeast 1056 American Ale

Bring 2.5 Gallons of to 150 Degrees and steep grains for 30 Minutes.

Remove boil pot from heat and add Dry and Liquid extracts. Stir well to disolve.

Return to burner to get a roling boil and start your Hop schedule.

Add Irish Moss in last 15 minutes.

Dry Hop with the leaf Cascade hops during the last 3-4 days of secondary.

I increased the DME to 3 lbs so the ABV will now be 5.4%.
I just put this in the bottle 9/13 and it taste and smells wonderful!
3 more weeks and I will update again.
