Looks nice! What do you think about using California ale yeast instead? I have some from previous brew?

Bishop916 02-04-2012 01:16 AM

I like the Irish and English yeasts because of the flavors they impart, however, this one came out terrifically smooth and not so much of the typical British beer notes, so I can see how a cali yeast would work fine.

(*FYI for most of my brew I use safale US-05 - I was just trying to step it up a bit)

Try it and tell me how it turns out!

Hi- don't see mash temp or how long to mash. Can you please let me know? Thanks!

Brewing this for the second time for St. Patty's Day. I actually asked people what to brew this year for the holiday. Wanted to try something different this year, but I got a resounding opinion that i should re-brew This recipe because so many people enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the recipe. I used Rogue's Pacman yeast last time. Might use it again. Made a nice and sweet brew. Also throwing some fuggles in for the first hop.
