Default All-Grain - Summer's Gone Summer Ale

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: Safale 04
Yeast Starter: hydrated
Batch Size (Gallons): 6
Original Gravity: 1.044
Final Gravity: 1.012
IBU: 44
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 7
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 7
Tasting Notes: A very nice fruity summer ale.

I brewed this at the ass end of summer while it was bucketing down outside. Such is life.

While i say fruity above for tasting notes, its more orange/citrus from the motueka and a bit of passionfruit in the aroma from the sauvin. Very nice beer if i do say so myself

Converted from metric:

6.6 lbs Marris Otter
2.2 lbs Pilsner malt
1.1 lbs Wheat Malt

30g Motueka (6.9%) @ 60mins
14g Motueka (6.9%) @ 30min
14g Motueka (6.9%) @5min
10g Nelson Sauvin (12%) @5mins

dry hopped with 14g Nelson Sauvin for 7 days

Also tastes yum

This one is pretty cloudy, even though i took some steps to reduce it. My brews are generally crystal clear. There's quite a bit of hops in this one though, which i have found often leads to cloudyness. tastes like win though
