Default SMaSH King (8C)


A brew buddy and I just did the following SMaSH recipe with great success. This thing came out fantastic and is surely a drinker. Although a simple recipe, it will be a keeper for me. Let me know what you guys think if you brew it up.

SMaSH King
Extra Special/Strong Bitter (English Pale Ale) (8 C)

Type: All Grain
Batch Size: 12.00 gal
Boil Time: 90 min
Fermentation: Ale, Single Stage

24 lbs Maris Otter
3 oz (22.9 IBU) EKG @ 60
3 oz (13.9 IBU) EKG @ 20
3 oz (8.3 IBU) EKG @ 10
3 oz (4.6 IBU) EKG @ 5
4 oz EKG for 7 days
Wyeast 1335 British Ale II

Mash @ 152

OG 1.059, FG 1.010
