An update, a fairly painful update: this beer is a little boring.

Recently, I brought a bottle of this to a club meeting and got some group tasting feedback. The response was a bit underwhelming.

A few days later, I took a step back and did another tasting myself. The malt profile is a bit muted. Its 'decent', it just doesn't bring enough flavor to the table for my taste which I was hoping for in a session ale.
