Extract - Easy Extract Kolsch
Recipe Type: Extract Yeast: Wyeast 2565 Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5 Original Gravity: 1.048 Final Gravity: 1.012 IBU: 25.4 Boiling Time (Minutes): 60 Color: 3.4 Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 days @ 62 Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 days @ 50 Tasting Notes: Great Kolsch taste. Dry, but not too dry.
This turned out to be a fantastic beer. A bit sweeter and better than Goose Island Summer Time imo. Very simple to do. Even fermenting at the higher end at 62 degrees, it was no problem. Perfect beer for the summer time.
