That will work great!

Great. That is the plan then. It will be interesting to see the differences. I will be going with saflager 23.

Yes. You will do fine by assuming hop scaling is linear.

I plan on brewing this very soon. Has anyone experimented with late-addition/whirlpool hops? Or even dry-hopping?

Made this morning . My sg was a hair low. 1.036. Used nottingham yeast and for a 5gal batch I used .75 ounce of each hop in the original recipe. Hydrated the yeast prior to pitching. Fermentation started in less than 6 hours. thanks for the recipe.

Brewed this for the third time two weeks ago. Today is day 15. Set the chest freezer to 35f before I went on a camping trip on day 12 and today it is looking mighty clear in the carboy. I was a little concerned because I used part of a cake of denny's 1450 and have heard of flocc issues with that, but this is looking like it will drop out really nicely.

Does anyone have experience with the final product of this beer using denny's 1450 yeast? I am really intrigued as to how this will turn out. If not, I will update this thread in about a week and a half or so.
