Extract - All Hopped Up Cream Ale
Recipe Type: Extract Yeast: White Labs California Ale V WLP051 Yeast Starter: Yes Batch Size (Gallons): 5 Original Gravity: 1.070 Final Gravity: 1.010 IBU: 17.9 IBU Boiling Time (Minutes): 60 Color: 12.0 SRM Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 Additional Fermentation: 3 Weeks in Bottles Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 Tasting Notes: Initially a little sweet but at 6 weeks in the bottle has a real nice balance
Technically this probably isn't a cream ale but I didn't really know how else to classify this beer.
If I would change anything I may remove the Corn Sugar because initially I thought it was too sweet but once this beer sits for a couple weeks it has a really nice balance.
