Yeast: WLP820
Yeast Starter: 6l
Batch Size (Gallons): 11
Original Gravity: 1.055
Final Gravity: 1.013
IBU: 23.3
Boiling Time (Minutes): 90
Color: 11.9
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14d @ 54*
Additional Fermentation: 30-90d @ 35*
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 3d @ 62*
Tasting Notes: Think your basic Oktober...but kick it in the teeth with some Rye goodness

Grain Bill    25 lbs
15 lbs     Vienna malt          60%
 4 lbs     Rye malt             16%
 4 lbs     Munich Malt          16%
 1 lbs     Caramunich Malt       4%
 1 lbs     Caramel 80L           4%

Hallertauer Hersbrucker[4.00%]        2 oz         30m
Tetnang[4.50%]                        2 oz         40m

I took Yooper's base brew and added my favorite flavor RYE!

I've made this about 8 times now but only now transfering my recipies off the index cards to Beersmith (and HBT!)

I really don't alter the bill much each time but I'd welcome any ideas to vary it.
