I wouldn't bother with this recipe. It isn't really that well thought out. In order to properly utilize the rice and corn they need to be mashed using a cereal mash. I would think that is not something that you want to do yet. Also are you able to cold ferment and lager the beer? If not I think that a Kolsch might be a better way to go. They are simple and if you do a full boil you can still get a nice light colored beer.
