Default Why Julia Child is cool

Or one of the reasons she is cool, one of my favorite TV Chefs....

Wait till near the end for the punch line

I gotta tell ya, just between us girls, that Revvy is HOT. Very tall, gorgeous grey hair and a terrific smile. He's very good looking in person, with a charismatic personality... he drives like a ****ing maniac! - YooperBrew

I still remember a scene where she poured a cup of wine into a kettle straight from the bottle. Then said, "Do you think I should have measured that?" She then took a measuring cup, closed her eyes and poured a cup of wine, exactly.

I grew up in the UK, so obviously I missed her TV shows. However, I have seen excerpts and clips here and there, and i have to say...I think i love her!

Can you imagine what a homebrewer she would have been!? Move over J.Z. and Palmer....Julia is taking over the brewing network!

I grew up watching Julia's show on PBS, I learned to cook from her, though I'm certainly nowhere near her league. I only found out about her WWII escapades a couple of years ago, I think she was quite a cool lady & is worthy of mention in history books. Regards, GF.

I was blessed to work with Julia during a taping for a cooking show.
Normally, I was a camera op or audio guy, but that day... the prep cook was sick.
Enter Shawn and his evil line cook experience.

I was prepping for the show and Julia commented on my precise knife skills.
I was freaking overwhelmed and honored.

after the prep. I fired up the audio gear and did the show. We all sat around and got toasted on wine and some Cabo Wabo Tequila from a previous episode afterwards.

Memories of a great lady. She was class. All the way.

and yes... she had a glass or three of wine during the taping, ready at all times.

she was a Goddess.
