The answer is . . . yes

Was at the grocery store and found some hams for 94 cents a pound. Brought it home, threw it in the roaster and ate for dinner

Also my award winning (well no awards) roasted potatoes. I cut up some regular spuds, a large sweet potato, onion and garlic and roasted in the over. For some reason my wife really likes them (esp with the sweet potato).

No beer tonight. Decided not to have any today.

I had carrot/butternut squash/cashew/ginger/coconut soup with kalamata olive bread & Bobo's robust porter. It was tasty. Regards, GF.

Made my first attempt at Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) with Tempura vegetables (just yellow squash and onions) with a Ginger Tentsuyu (tempura dipping sauce). Ate the leftovers before bed.

Ironic that you made Pierogis, I just made up Piroshkis the other day and SWMBO and I ate like peasants for the evening. Very delicious! No pictures sadly, but here is one for you. Osso Bucco the other night.

Why did I never think to fry my pierogis with onions?!! That looks great yooper. Seems like not many people make them from scratch anymore either.

No, I don't think too many people make them from scratch any more. I did because we cant' even get them frozen where we live, and I love my Polish comfort food.

Tonight, Bob cooked. He made a green curry with shrimp. When he put it on the table, he said, "Don't you want to take a picture for your forum?". So, here it is:

It was great! It was very spicy hot this time, and we served it with a chilled white wine- apple 2008.
