Anybody ever made Taiyaki at home?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiyaki
I've been wanting to try this at home & have been perusing the molds & bean pastes that are available online. While the process sounds pretty easy, I'm wondering if anyone has a preference for a particular mold, (been thinking about this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00065YBEU/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 ) but I'm especially interested in the bean paste.
I've never tasted the sort of bean pastes that are available & some of them seem to be significantly different from each other. I was thinking about this:

I'd like to try making Taiyaki with traditional ingredients before I start experimenting with different fillings & batters. So any preference on the bean paste brands or styles? Or even other fillings/batters?
Regards, GF.
