Default Steaks on the Wood-Fired Oven

The other day, I made N.Y. strips on my new "Tuscan" grill in the wfo. At 800 degrees, it only takes a few minutes for medium well. Full of smokey juicy goodness, and so much tastier than a gas grill.

The steaks look great and the oven itself is a work of art. What else have you cooked in so far?

Lots of pizza, some bread, apple pie, ribs, pork loin roasts, casseroles and a 22# turkey.

Been wanting to build something like that, how much do you estimate was the cost to build it? Very nice.

I haven't tallied up the receipts yet, but I'm probably into it for at least $2500. To build the bare oven was about $1000.
