Default Need advice on beer / food pairing book

Looking for a good book on pairing beer with food. Downloaded a beer / food pairing chart but need a book for more in depth pairing suggestions.

The two books I am considering are:

The Brewmaster's Table: Discovering the Pleasures of Real Beer with Real Food by Garrett Oliver and:

The Best of American Beer and Food: Pairing & Cooking with Craft Beer by Lucy Saunders

Leaning towards the Brewmaster's Table because it does not contain a lot of recipes. My wife is an excellent cook and never uses a recipe anyway.

There is an iPhone app called BeerCloud that has a Sommelier feature - recommends beers given almost any food. Pretty cool.

Brewmaster's Table is an excellent book. Highly recommend it. It breaks down every style and the appropriate food pairings. No actual recipes, but great pairing suggestions.
