I saw these in Whole Foods recently but just couldn't bring myself to spend $10 on a jar of pickles. Would rather spend $10 on some DFH beer.

I followed the Sea Hag recipe, using the Kosher Salt (couldnt find pickling salt), and SN Celebration. I made two jars with some mini cukes i found at the grocery store. I think its a great recipe, good dill flavor, with a nice balance of sweet with a little heat. I took some to the office and received a number of compliments. I'll be making these again, for sure.

I used DFG 90 minute, pepper, garlic, habenero, kosher salt. I made one batch with cider vinegar, and one with white. All were awesome.

Did anyone else need to double the liquid and salt for the first recipe? , the amounts listed only made a quart of pickling juice. I hope I didn't use too much salt by doubling that as well but it didn't seem like an inordinate amount for pickles

Maybe over Christmas break I'll give this a try.

Making my pickles right now. I modified these recipes but I did use beer. Next time, I'm thinking about putting whole cone hopes into the cans.

Second Go round of this recipe today. First one was awesome. Added a tsp of extremely hot dried pepper dust(also homemade, where the "mildest" pepper in the batch was habanero) to one of the jars, and they were amazing. Backed off the heat a bit this time, only half a tsp. can't wait to try them in a week.
