Coffee Bean Roasters?

I'm been looking around at coffee roasters and was wondering if anyone had any input on them. I'm thinking of getting one for someone for a Christmas present and want to make sure it's not a piece of junk

I'm partial to a metal bowl and heat gun, but that's only because it's what I have right now...

freshroast is coming out with a new model to their freshroast 8 in mid november and thats what im waiting for. www.sweetmarias.com will give you some details on it

My FreshRoast 8 has served me well but I still prefer my cheap hot air popcorn popper. Can't use it outside once it gets cold though.
