that looks awesome, from the title I thought this was about how to open a wyeast packet. I always tear bread unless im making a sandwich and need clean edges.

Recipe: the usual.

none really.


Half a bag of rough grain floor, teaspoon salt and sugar, table spoon of oil, yeast and warm water, water to form dough. knead for 10 minutes rest for 5. Cut and plait. rest in warmth for 30 minutes. cook in preheated oven with water bath at 230°C for 15-20 minutes.

I cook on a marble slab with semolina and remove for the last few minutes
