I have not seen these before, not sure if my interest is peaked or not.

My family has an interesting recipe of French Toast with cheese in the middle. Basically a grilled cheese but french toast.

I just had a couple of these this morning, made per the recipe by a co-worker. The almond flavoring is a bit too powerful and the maple cin glaze could be a bit "creamier" but otherwise dam tasty.

It might be a good idea to cut the almond extract back to something like a quarter tsp... that seems a bit more standard in cookie recipe.

I'm intrigued! There's a maple bacon cupcake recipe I wanted to try, too, from a food blog called Vanilla Garlic..
