Will the temperature probe on the STC-1000 fit in a thermowell stopper for my carboy?

Anyone have a wiring diagram that will allow me to wire in a PC fan that will come on and shut off as my mini fridge fermentation chamber cycles on and off?
 
the temp probe shoud fit just fine... just wire the fan to a ac adapter from an old cell phone charger or equivalent and then plug it into a 3 outlet splitter with the fridge...
