After years of drooling and looking at all the different setups out there, i finally nailed mine down and started building.
The stand is assembled, but unfinished.
The HLT was getting a dry fit before I sexy it up a little bit.
Just a basic control panel.
I am using the propane burner to bring the water for the HLT close to its initial temp and from there the electric heaters will take over (heated in the BK then pumped to the HLT). I decided to use 2 120v 2000w heaters because i already have 2 dedicated 20A GFCI circuits in my yard for my other hobby that went overboard (animated Christmas lights). I also have a timed relay for the second heat element so it only turns on if the first element runs for more then 3 mins. But that is adjustable from 3 seconds to 10 mins. I will be working like crazy the next few weeks to get it done and will post updates along the way.
