After brewing last night one of my major problems was the mesuring of liquid at different points of the brew. I do have the sight gauge on the side but when it asks for 2.85 or 3.65 gallons this is tough. What can I do to make this easier?
Fill the kettle with water 1 gallon at a time and mark graduations on the glass. Also at the 1/2 gallon mark if it makes you feel better. Its what we all have had to do with site glass.
