I batch sparge then recirculate. It's like the "Brutus 20" or any other two vessel systems.

Do you capture your first lauter in a bucket, then transfer back to the kettle to boil?

I have done that but with a pump it recirculates both mash and sparge until its all equal then drain into the BK. Heres a link that explains it better than I can.
