Looking for anyone with this PID to help me out. I have it wired up, no problems. It comes on and reads ambient temps (haven' check accuracy yet though)

My issue comes with going through the menu to set up the thermocouple type, degree type, etc... The manual I downloaded says to push and hold the set button for 5 seconds while pressing the shift button. I have tried this a hundred times today and I cannot get to the parameters menu with the input types. The only option I get are for AL1 and a few other options. The ones I really need are SL1, CT1, and the lot lke that. I cannot figure out how to get to those.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured it out. The one I bought off of EBAY has the same name as another. I downloaded the wrong manual and some of the features and directions don't match up between the two. Derrrrrrr....

How is that C700 working out for you? I just got one for another project and am also getting into making beer and using it for that. How do you have it set up?
