Had to upgrade from my 2 keg kegerator. Went with the GE 7.0 CF freezer from Home Depot. Using a Johnson A419 from Northern Brewer when they had the sale a couple weeks ago. Here are a couple of pics.
Removing rubber strip
Sizing the collar
Spacing out taps
Holes Drilled for shanks. 4 inch Stainless steel shanks also from Northern Brewer
Polyurathane on collar. Excuse the mess in the basement shop area!
Insulating the Collar. I used 3/4 inch foam insulation from home depot
Collar attached to freezer
Stappled the rubber strip to collar
Using some crates of bottled homebrew to hold down lid while liquid nails cures over night.
Beer and air lines run. I decided to go with 10 foot lines, so I ran out. Only ordered enough for 8 foot lines.
Four perlick faucets and she is ready to go. I left room, and marked the collar for the fifth shank and faucet, soon to come.
Very nice!!! Looks like a simple and clean build!!
