So today I went shopping and after like 8 stores I gave up looking for "o" rings or another heat resistant gasket and picked up a pack of Master Plumber gasket sheets.
Contains: 5 x 15cm/15cm
laminated rubber, .060 thick
black rubber, .031 thick
asbestos, .060 thick ?? Website wrong? or is it actually Asbestos rubber?
cork, .125 thick
cork, .060 thick
Their website says that, but the package says Rubber, Cock and Nitrile?!?
Anyway I used the Asbestos Rubber because it seemed like it would work the best, and didn't leak a drop. But now knowing that it is what it is...
