Propane hose dilemma please help

Hi guys.....I am still building my RIMS....almost done!

I plumbed it for propane today with valves, regulator etc.

I have one dilemma though. I need two propane stainless flexible hoses.
One @14" and One @18" in length. Both hoses need to have 3/8" flare female ends to mate up to the valve and burner.

Does anyone know of a site that has smaller size hoses or custom makes sizes for a decent price?

Check the Home depot, Lowes, or ace hardware for "Gas connectors", most of the small diameter hose assemblies are sold with 1/2" pipe connections that are usually 1/2"pipe X 3/8" Flare connectors. The units sold for water heater or gas range connection should be what you are looking for.

I saw them today...too long and almost 40.00.

Originally I was going to use 3/8" copper tube and 3/8" nuts....flare the ends with my flaring tool and call it good but my flaring tool is for 3/8" OD. Copper tube is measured in ID which will not work.

I have been looking for a copper ID tube bender but no luck...that is why I decided the SS propane hoses would be good...but cannot fid the damn things with 3/8" flare females on both ends at the lengths I need : (

SOunds like you were looking at the gas range connectors, the shorter yellow colored units are what is needed, stainless inside, plastic protection outside. You can find them with "Gas Connector" search on the web. Take a look at the yellow units and pull the nut loose from the male connector and you should find the flared end inside.
