the only real purpose for the picnic tap is so I can use the diy counter pressure bottle filler that I found on this site. otherwise the tap isn't needed.
Have you installed a flow limiter to the diptube to keep it from foaming? Such as the epoxy mixing sticks or a length of 3/16" ID tubing?

Most problems can be solved with the proper application of force.
I have some epoxy stiring rods on order, and I will install them as soon as they arrive. but I may do a trial before intsalling the epoxy stir rod just to note the difference that it makes.
