I was replacing some commercial HVAC unit that had been hit by copper thieves , before junking the skeleton I wanted the stainless steel 1" flex lines that fed the heat , On one I had to take the gas soleniod unit with it . It was on too tight , My question is there any use for this honeywell valve before i chunk it .

Absoultely. Lots of people are using the honeywell furnace valves for their automated brew stands. I myself will be doing the same at some point.
