Default My Wood Brew-traption (brew stand)

It only took an afternoon to build.

Looks great, only question on my mind is if there's any risk of setting the top or bottom tier on fire when you turn up your burner?

No chance of that, there isn't a burner!

Q for OP, are you going to move your burner or get another one? Just wondering...

edit to add...nvermind-I see the second propane tank, I figure another burner is forthcoming...

I hope not!!!

I have seen pics of other wooden 3-tier stands posted here, and folks don't seem to have any issues with brewstand-ignitage. My past three brews I've been using a portable table to support my mash-tun with the boil kettle/burner sitting in roughly the same position it would be on the new wooden stand, and the edge of the table never even got warm. Of course, I'll always monitor it for excess heat, but I don't believe I'll have any problems.

As soon as the budget (SWMBO) will allow, an additional burner will be purchased. Til then, I have to move it.

Looks good, although I don't get why you have it so high! I would have made the distance between 2nd and 1st tier a lot shorter.

I think that is to allow for the addition of the boil pot burner!

I plan on making something similar. I might use cement board under the burners.

That's exactly why it is as high as it is. I like the cement board idea. I may steal that.
